Band Control Solenoid Valve: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the oil pan and filter. Refer to Changing Fluid and Oil Filter.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from solenoid valve.
3. Remove retaining pin (2). Use pliers to pull pin out.
4. Remove the solenoid (1).
5. Remove the solenoid valve and wave washer.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the solenoid valve (1) and wave washer.
2. Install the retaining pin (2). Use a soft mallet to drive pin in.
3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the oil pan and filter. Refer to Changing Fluid and Oil Filter.
