Console Replacement - Lower

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the upper console.
2. Remove the housing from the console rear vent.
3. Remove the gear selector boot from the lower console by gently pulling up on front end of the boot.
4. Remove the shift indicator by reaching through the console opening near the gear selector.
5. Remove the connector from the shift indicator.
6. Remove the winter mode switch.




7. Remove the screws from the lower console trim plate.
8. Remove the lower console trim plate.
9. Remove the power window switches.




10. Remove the bolts from the front lower console.




11. Remove the bolts from the rear lower console.
12. Set the shift selector to the DRIVE position.
13. Remove the lower console.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the lower console into mounting position.
2. Set the shift selector to the PARK position.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the bolts to the rear lower console.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts until fully seated but not stripped.




4. Install the bolts to the front lower console.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts until fully seated but not stripped.

5. Install the power window switches.




6. Install the lower console trim plate.
7. Install the screws to the lower console trim plate.

Tighten
Tighten the screws until fully seated but not stripped.




8. Install the winter mode switch.
9. Install the connector to the shift indicator.
10. Install the shift indicator by snapping into place.
11. Install the gear selector boot to the lower console.
12. Install the housing to the console rear vent.
13. Install the upper console.
