WINDOW REGULATOR - REAR DOOR

Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door: Removal Procedure:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Lower the window half way down to gain access to the window retainer clamp bolts (1).
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to "Door Trim Panel".
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer To "Water Deflector".
4. Loosen the window retainer clamp bolts.

IMPORTANT: It may be necessary to use masking tape to hold the window into place while removing the regulator.

5. Slide the window to the full up position.
6. Loosen the two captured bolts (2).
7. Remove the three remaining bolts (3).

8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.
9. Slide the window regulator upward to release the two captured bolts from the keyhole slots.
10. Remove the window regulator.

Window Regulator Replacement - Rear Door: Installation Procedure:

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the window regulator into the door.
2. Locate the two captured bolts (2) into the keyhole slots.
3. Slide the regulator downward to engage the two captured bolts.
4. Install the three remaining bolts (3).

Tighten
Tighten the window regulator bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Connect the window motor electrical connector.
6. Slide the window down into the window retainer clamps.

Tighten
Tighten the window retainer clamp bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

7. Install the water deflector.
8. Install the door trim panel.
