Tilt/Telescoping Memory/Personalization

Memory settings and personalization of the steering wheel positions are available with the tilt/telescope steering column. The settings available depend on whether or not the vehicle is equipped with memory switches. (Vehicles equipped with Memory have a set of four switches, MEMORY SET, EXIT, 1 and 2, located on the driver's door panel. The data stored consists of entry positions and exit positions: The entry position is the position the steering column moves to when the ignition is turned ON, The exit position is the position the steering column moves to when the ignition is turned OFF and the driver's door is opened.
