DIC or Message Center Operation

The DIC uses the following IPC control buttons to control the displayed messages.

ENG/MET Button
Pressing the ENG/MET button changes all DIC message displays between the English or metric measurement unit modes.

Up INFO Down Button
The INFO button consists of the INFO up and INFO down inputs.
^ Pressing the INFO up switch scrolls up through the various message displays.
^ Pressing the INFO down switch scrolls down through the various message displays.

INFO RESET Button
The INFO RESET button resets the following status messages to their default states:
^ MPG AVG
^ GAL FUEL USED
^ MPH AVG
^ TIMER
^ ENGINE OIL LIFE
^ TRANS FLUID LIFE

ON/OFF Button
The ON/OFF button is used during the personalization programming mode.
