Starter Motor Installation

1. Place the starter motor in position in the engine valley.
2. Install the two starter motor retaining bolts.
^ Tighten the starter motor retaining bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the knock sensor (1).
^ Tighten the knock sensor (1) to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).






4. Connect the knock sensor wire lead.
