AL2
Battery positive voltage (B+) is supplied at all times to each seat switch via CKT 3740 (ORN) from the rear junction block PWR SEAT circuit breaker. The LH lumbar switch is supplied ground via CKT 550 (BLK) to G302. The RH lumbar switch is supplied ground via CKT 650 (BLK) to G302.In/Out
When the lumbar switch is operated to move the lumbar in, battery positive voltage (B+) is applied via the lumbar in switch contacts and CKT 610 (PNK) (LH) or CKT 210 (PNK/BLK) (RH) to the lumbar in/out motor. The motor is grounded via CKT 611 (DK BLU) (LH) or CKT 211 (WHT) (RH) and the lumbar out switch contacts to ground. The motor runs to drive the lumbar in, away from the occupant's back, until the switch is released. Moving the lumbar out works similarly to moving the lumbar in except that the battery positive voltage (B+) and ground are on the opposite circuits causing the motor to run in the opposite direction driving the lumbar out, toward the occupant's back.
Up/Down
When the lumbar switch is operated to move the lumbar up, battery positive voltage (B+) is applied via the lumbar up switch contacts and CKT 768 (TAN) (LH) or CKT 793 (PNK) (RH) to the lumbar up/down motor. The motor is grounded via CKT 767 (PPL) (LH) or CKT 792 (ORN) (RH) and the lumbar down switch contacts to ground. The motor runs to drive the lumbar up until the switch is released. Moving the lumbar down works similarly to moving the lumbar up except that the battery positive voltage (B+) and ground are on the opposite circuits causing the motor to run in the opposite direction driving the lumbar down.
