REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - IP Lower (Right): Removal Procedure:

1. Remove fasteners (1) at rear edge of insulators to disengage from lower IP.
2. Push in on the snap tab retainers to release.

Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - IP Lower (Right): Removal Procedure:

3. Disconnect electrical connectors (1 and 2) as necessary.
4. Slide insulator (3) rearward in vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - IP Lower (Right): Installation Procedure:

1. Set forward edge onto shelf on carpeting at front of vehicle.
2. Reconnect electrical connectors (1 and 2).

Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - IP Lower (Right): Installation Procedure:

3. Align insulator to floor duct at HVAC module.
4. Align the snap tab fasteners to the IP lower and push upward to engage.
5. Install fasteners (1) into lower IP.

Tighten
Tighten the insulator fasteners to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
