REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Compartment Close-Out Panel Replacement - Rear: Removal Procedure:

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment opening weatherstrip.
3. Gently pry the top and rear edge of the rear compartment close-out panel (3) to release the tape strip.
4. Rotate the rear compartment close-out panel (3) up and back to release the clips (2).
5. Remove the rear compartment close-out panel (3) from the vehicle.
6. Clean the old adhesive from the body panel and the rear compartment close-out panel (if reusing).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Compartment Close-Out Panel Replacement - Rear: Installation Procedure:

1. If reusing the rear compartment close-out panel (3) apply a double-coated actylic foam tape strip to the top and rear edge of the rear compartment close-out panel (3).
2. Install the rear compartment close-out panel (3) to the vehicle.
3. Press the rear compartment close-out panel (3) forward and down to engage the retainers (1 and 2).
4. Hold the rear compartment close-out panel (3) in place and peel the backing from the tape.
5. Install the rear compartment opening weatherstrip.
6. Close the rear compartment lid.
