REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Window Replacement - Front Door: Removal Procedure:

1. Power the window half way down prior to door trim panel removal.

CAUTION: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the drivers door. When operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly, which could cause personal injury.

2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Locate the window clamps (3) on the regulator (2) and loosen the bolts (4).
5. Remove the window by pulling it up and out of the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Window Replacement - Front Door: Installation Procedure:

IMPORTANT: The window regulator should be at least half way down before installing the window. Ensure that the glass insulators are clean before installing the window.

1. Install the window (1) down into the door.
2. Locate the window into the two clamps.
3. Connect a power-source to the window motor and run the window to the full-up position.

Tighten
Tighten the window clamp bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

4. Install the water deflector.
5. Install the door trim panel.
6. Check the window and door controls for proper operation.
