Sunscreen Motor Replacement - Rear

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Sunscreen Motor Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the rear window sunscreen.
2. Remove rear window sunscreen flywheel bolt (3).
3. Remove rear window sunscreen flywheel.
4. Disconnect the sunscreen motor electrical connection.

Sunscreen Motor Replacement: Removal Procedure:

5. Remove three screws and rear window sunscreen motor from assembly.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Sunscreen Motor Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the rear window sunscreen motor to the assembly.
2. Install sunscreen motor screws.

Tighten
Tighten the sunscreen motors screws until fully seated but DO NOT strip.

Sunscreen Motor Replacement: Installation Procedure:

3. Connect the sunscreen motor electrical connection.
4. Install rear window sunscreen flywheel by:
4.1. Turn sunscreen motor clockwise until motor stops.
4.2. Install sunscreen flywheel (2), it maybe necessary to turn the flywheel counter-clockwise until it egages on to the motor shaft (1).
5. Install the sunscreen flywheel bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the sunscreen flywheel bolt until fully seated but DO NOT strip.

6. Install the rear window sunscreen.
