Installation Procedure

Description:

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the bolt to the driver seat retractor belt.

Tighten
Tighten the driver seat retractor belt bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb. ft).

2. Install the driver seat shoulder belt height adjuster.

Tighten
Tighten the driver seat shoulder belt height adjuster bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb. ft).

3. Install the screws to the front seat belt shoulder guide. The screws are located under the upper center pillar trim panel.

Tighten
Tighten the front seat shoulder belt guide screw to 10 N.m (89 lb. in).

4. Install the screws to the upper center pillar trim panel. The screws are located in the upper center pillar trim panel.

Tighten
Tighten the upper center pillar trim panel screws until fully seated and not stripped.

5. Install the bolt to the driver seat retractor belt lower.
^ The bolt is located in the center lower pillar to rocker.

Tighten
Tighten the driver seat retractor belt lower bolt to 35 N.m (26 lb. ft).

6. Install the carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer in Interior Trim.
7. Install the front seat track front trim.
8. Install the front track rear trim screw.
9. Lower the center pillar trim panel, snap on.
10. Place the seat in the full forward and center position.
