Installation Procedure

Description:

1. Install sensor to mounting plate.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Vehicle Damage Warnings.

2. Install two Torx(R) headed screws.
Tighten

Tighten Inflatable restraint side impact screws to 5 N.m(45 lb. in).

3. Connect inflatable restraint side impact sensor electrical connector.
4. Install front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Re placement - Front Door in Doors.
5. Install front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door in Doors.
6. Enable SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System.
