Installation

1. Install the SIR coil.
2. Connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil connector.





3. Center the coil. Refer to Centering Steering Wheel Inflator Module Coil.
4. Install the lower steering column cover.
5. Install the lower steering column cover screws.
6. Install the rubber protective cover to the ignition lock cylinder.





7. Install the steering wheel tilt lever. Refer to Tilt Lever Replacement.
8. Install the upper steering column cover.
9. Install the upper steering column cover screws.
10. Install the upper steering column cover screw caps.
11. Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement.
12. Enable SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in Inflatable Restraints.
