Exhaust Heat Shield Replacement (Muffler)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
2. Remove the exhaust mufflers.





3. Remove the heat shield nuts (1).
4. Remove the heat shield.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the heat shield.





2. Install the heat shield nuts (1).
- Tighten the heat shield nuts to 2 Nm (18 inch lbs).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the exhaust mufflers.
4. Lower the vehicle.
