Seat Cushion Heater Replacement: Rear
REMOVAL PROCEDURESeat Cushion Heater Replacement (Rear): Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion cover.
3. Remove seat cushion heater element by:
IMPORTANT: The rear seat cushion cover contains two heating elements a right and left, both heater elements are serviced the same way.
3.1. Cut along seams on the inside of the seat cover, being careful not to cut through the front side of the seat cover.
3.2. Cut the heater element electrical wiring.
3.3. Remove the heater element and wiring from the seat cover.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Seat Cushion Heater Replacement (Rear): Installation Procedure:
1. Install the rear seat cushion heating element to the seat cover.
2. Install seat cushion heater element electrical wiring to the original position of the old wiring harness.
3. Fold over ends of new heater element and tape to the seat cushion cover.
4. Install the rear seat cushion cover.
5. Install the rear seat.
