Impact Bar Replacement - Front Bumper

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Impact Bar Replacement (Front Bumper): Removal Procedure:

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front fascia.
3. Remove the front bumper fascia support.
4. Remove the nuts (2) from the windshield washer reservoir (1). The windshield washer reservoir does not require removal from the vehicle.
5. Remove the nuts (4) from the front bumper impact bar (3).

6. Remove the front bumper impact bar.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Impact Bar Replacement (Front Bumper): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the front bumper impact bar.

Impact Bar Replacement (Front Bumper): Installation Procedure:

2. Install the nuts (4) to the front bumper impact bar (3).

Tighten
Tighten the front bumper impact bar nuts to 150 N.m (111 lb ft).

3. Install the nuts (2) to the windshield washer reservoir (1).

Tighten
Tighten the windshield washer fluid reservoir nuts to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

4. Install the front bumper fascia support.
5. Install the front fascia.
6. Lower the vehicle.
