Engine RPM (Digital IPC Only)

Engine RPM is calculated by the IPC as described below.
The Engine RPM (tachometer) gage is driven by a direct input from the PCM. Instantaneous engine speed (RPM) is calculated from the time difference between two consecutive tachometer pulses. This message may be suppressed using Option Byte E.
