Upper Control Arm
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle.
2. Wheel and tire.
3. Electronic Level Control (ELC) height sensor link.
4. Road sensing suspension position sensor and bracket from shock tower.
5. Inner and outer control arm bolts.
6. Control arm up over the shock tower to remove from vehicle.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Control arm over the shock tower to install in vehicle.
2. Inner and outer control arm bolts. Place screw jack under outboard end of lower control arm to bring suspension to design position. Inner control arm nuts must be tightened in design position to reduce wind up in bushings.
^ Tighten upper control arm inner and outer nuts to 57 Nm (42 ft. lbs.).
3. Road sensing suspension position sensor bracket and sensor.
4. ELC height sensor link.
5. Wheel and tire.
^ Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).
6. Lower vehicle.
