Trip Odometer Resets

When the EEPROM option Byte #2 (Option B) is set for European Economic Community, French Canadian, Japanese, or Saudi Arabian the odometer will reset at 1999.9 km (1242.6 miles) regardless of the English/Metric mode in effect. To verify proper vehicle configuration, refer to "IPC Diagnostic Parameters," specifically 1502 (IPC EEPROM OPTION CONTENT).
