Battery Volts High Message

The IPC monitors battery voltage on connector C1 terminals "A1" and "B1" as a part of its self-diagnostic checks. If a high battery voltage (above 16 volts) condition exists, DTC B 1982 will be set and the message BATTERY VOLTS HIGH will be displayed.
