Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Service and Repair

WARNING: To help avoid personal Injury or damage to the vehicle, a bent, cracked, or damaged fan blade or housing should always be replaced.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the upper filler panel.
2. Remove the air cleaner.
3. Remove the left engine torque strut. See Engine.





4. Remove the upper radiator hose.
5. Disconnect the upper oil cooler line from the radiator.





6. Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors.





7. Remove the cooling fans.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the cooling fans. Tighten the cooling fan bolts to 10 Nm (89 ft. lbs.).
2. Connect the cooling fan electrical connectors.
3. Connect the upper oil cooler line to the radiator.
4. Install the upper radiator hose.
5. Install the left engine torque strut. See Engine.
6. Install the air cleaner.
7. Install the upper filler panel.
