REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement: Removal Procedure:

CAUTION: When working with any type of glass, use approved safety glasses and gloves to reduce the chance of personal injury.

The windshield reveal moldings are pressed into a four piece retainer. The reveal molding retainer is attached to the windshield by a thin bead of butyl tape that is in the groove of the retainer.
1. Carefully pry the end of the windshield reveal moldings (1 and 2) out of the reveal molding retainers (3) near the base of the windshield.
2. Pull upward and away from the reveal molding retainer and windshield to remove the windshield reveal moldings.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Windshield Reveal Molding Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Start at the upper corners when inserting the windshield reveal molding into the retainers.
2. Work the windshield reveal molding downward and across to complete the installation of the windshield reveal molding.
