Condition
Some owners may comment on one or more of the following conditions with the ignition cylinder and key.^ Upon attempting to start car, occasionally the ignition cylinder binds and cannot be rotated to the "START" position. Slight rotation of the steering wheel while turning the key eliminates the bind condition and allows movement of the ignition cylinder.
^ Upon shutting the car off, the key requires a slightly higher effort to remove from the ignition cylinder compared to other model cars the owner may be familiar with.
^ Upon shutting the car off, the key cannot be rotated to the "LOCK" position and the key cannot be removed from the ignition (i.e.. key remains stuck in ignition).
