Brake Pad Wear Sensor

The brake pad wear sensor is located on the front, inner disc brake pads. The sensor is wired in series to ground from the gauge cluster, as the brake pads wear down a spring type bridge in the sensor will eventually separate, thereby, the circuit becomes open and the warning indicator will illuminate.
