Mechanical Diagnosis of Adjuster - Power Seats

POWER SEAT ADJUSTER
The following symptoms refer to mechanical operation of power eat adjusters with a power recliner. For electrical diagnosis refer to System Check.
1. One adjuster reaches maximum horizontal position before the other adjuster. Adjuster may be out of phase.
2. Seat does not move smoothly. Adjusters may not be properly lubricated.
3. One adjuster will not move forward and backward. Driveshafts may be jammed or damaged.
