Console Ashtray

ASHTRAY REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Ashtray Removal Procedure:

1. Set the parking brake and move the shifter selector to the full rear position.
2. Open the ashtray.
3. Release the outer tray cover from the right side of the assembly and remove.

Ashtray Removal Procedure:

4. Remove the screw from rear of ashtray.
5. Remove the ashtray from instrument panel (I/P).

Ashtray Removal Procedure:

6. Remove the harness connectors from lighter.

CIGARETTE LIGHTER REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Cigarette Lighter Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the ashtray.
2. Remove the cigarette lighter from ashtray with small flat-bladed tools.

CIGARETTE LIGHTER INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Cigarette Lighter Installation Procedure:

1. Install the cigarette lighter to ashtray by firmly seating.
2. Install the ashtray.

ASHTRAY INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Astray Installation Procedure:

1. Install the harness connectors to lighter.
2. Install the ashtray to I/P.

Astray Installation Procedure:

3. Screw to rear of ashtray.

Tighten
Tighten the screw until fully seated but not stripped.
4. Install the outer tray cover to ashtray assembly.
5. Close the ashtray.

Install the shifter selector to full forward position and release the parking brake.
