Programming Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

The last ten characters of the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) are stored in the Theft Deterrent Module. These characters are a combination of alpha/numeric characters. The first two positions contain either a alpha character or a numeric value. The third position is a alpha character for the Model Year. The fourth position contains a alpha character of numeric value. The following six positions are numeric.
