Run Channels
FRONT RUN CHANNELFigure 1
Remove or Disconnect
1. Trim panel. Refer to Section 10-6 in the Service Manual.
2. Speaker. Refer to Section 10-6 in the Service Manual.
3. Water deflector. Refer to Section 10-6 in the Service Manual.
4. Sealing strip. Refer to Section 10-6 in the Service Manual.
5. Window. Refer to Section 10-6 in the Service Manual.
6. Front upstop adjuster nut.
7. Front upstop adjuster.
8. Front run channel bolt.
9. Move top of front run channel away from mirror. Be careful not to damage seal.
10. Rotate channel toward bottom of door, pull up on bottom of channel to release from retainer.
11. Front run channel.
Install or Connect
1. Front run channel into door, (parallel to bottom of door) aligning lower adjuster into retainer.
2. Swing top of front run channel up and align retainer to bolt hole.
3. Front run channel bolt.
4. Tighten bolt to 11 Nm (97 lb in.)
5. Front upstop adjuster.
6. Front upstop nut.
7. Tighten nut to 9 Nm (80 lb in.)
8. Apply a thin coat of lubricant, P/N 1050109 or equivalent, on run channels.
Important:
Avoid lubrication build-up on window run channels. Lubricant must not get on door window or belt line sealing strips.

10. Sealing strip. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
11. Water deflector. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
12. Speaker. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
13. Trim panel. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
REAR RUN CHANNEL

Remove or Disconnect
1. Lower window approximately 2 inches.
2. Trim panel. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
3. Speaker. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
4. Water deflector. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
5. Sealing strip. Refer to Section 10-6 of the Service Manual.
6. Upstop adjuster nut.
7. Upstop adjuster.
8. Rear run channel bolt.
9. Move top of rear run channel away from window to disengage guide block.
10. Lift upward on rear run channel to clear lower retainer.
11. Move bottom of rear run channel rearward to clear module.
12. Run channel.
Install or Connect
1. Rear run channel into door, aligning lower adjuster into retainer.
2. Move top of rear run channel outward and engage window guide block.
3. Rear run channel bolt.
4. Tighten bolt to 11 Nm (97 lb in.)
5. Upstop adjuster.
6. Upstop adjuster nut.
7. Tighten nut to 9 Nm (80 lb in.)
8. Apply a thin coat of lubricant, P/N 1050109 or equivalent, on run channels.
Important:
