DTC RS0062 LR CVRSS Position Sensor Input Fault (Part 1 Of 2):

TEST CONDITIONS:
The CVRSS control module monitors the CVRSS position sensor data for a sensor out-of- range condition. The signal is out-of-range if it is under voltage (0.35 V) or over voltage (4.75 V).

FAULT CONDITIONS:
If the signal is out-of-range for more than 1 second, the fault is detected.

ACTION TAKEN:
Set code, turn on "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" message, and enter a "Speed Dependent Damping" mode, in which all four dampers are concurrently driven by a fixed PWM duty cycle which changes (generally increases) as a function of vehicle speed.

DESCRIPTION:
The CVRSS control module monitors the CVRSS position sensor data for a sensor out-of-range condition. The signal is out-of-range if it is under voltage (0.35 V) or over voltage (4.75 V). If the signal is out-of- range for more than 1 second, the fault is detected.

NOTES ON FAULT TREE:
1. Refer to Intermittant.

TO DIAGNOSE THIS CONDITION:
^ Clear codes. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

^ Enter output cycling

^ Manipulate affected wiring

^ Shake and/or tap the sensor, and

^ Recheck for codes. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

2. A CVRSS position sensor input fault code may set due to corresponding CVRSS position sensor supply over current code being set. If this is the case, the over current code must be diagnosed first.
3. Clear codes.

E]4 After replacing the position sensor always perform ELC Trim Height Adjustment. Adjustments
