UNIVERSAL THEFT DETERRENT (UTD)

The Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) System (when armed) is designed to deter vehicle theft by pulsing the horns and exterior lamps when a unauthorized vehicle entry is detected.

An unauthorized entry can be any of the following:
- Forced entry into the trunk.
- The ignition switch is turned from the "LOCK" position.
- When any door is opened.
