Damping Control Actuator: Description and Operation
DESCRIPTIONLift/dive input is received from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). When the system receives a lift or dive signal it will adjust the suspension system to the firm position on all corners. The lift signal is calculated in the PCM based of throttle position, transmission gear and vehicle speed. The dive signal, calculated by the PCM, checks the rate of change in vehicle speed.
