Circuit Operation

The seat belt retractor system automatically retracts the driver's and passenger's seat belts. When the car is stopped and the driver unbuckles his seat belt, the seat belt is retracted when the driver's door is opened. The passenger seat belt is retracted in the same way when the passenger's door is opened. When either door is opened, battery voltage is applied from the Trunk Compartment Fuse Block BATT Fuse to the retractor solenoid to retract the unbuckled seat belt. Both circuits are identical, and each is comprised of a retractor solenoid and a door switch assembly.
