Sensing Resister Module

DESCRIPTION
The sensing resistor module is located in the luggage compartment in the right quarter panel, external to the sensing module and consists of four resistors inside a ceramic material. When a solenoid is switched to the ON state, full system voltage is applied for a short period of time to quickly activate the solenoid. It is undesirable to maintain this high current to the solenoid any longer than required, therefore a resistor is put into the circuit. This Hold mode provides enough current to hold the solenoid in the ON position.
