Section 6E - Driveability and Emissions - Revised Service Information for DTCs P0118, P0123, P1576, P1577, P1652 and P1654

Models:
1996 Cadillac DeVille, Eldorado, Seville
with 4.6L Engine (VINs Y, 9 - RPOs LD8, L37)

This bulletin is being issued to revise service information for the following DTCs:

DTC P0118 Step 6 of the diagnostic table, change "terminal 7" to "terminal 17".

DTC P0123 Step 12 of the diagnostic table, change "terminals 7, 62 and 68" to "terminals 12, 63 and 68".

DTC P1576 Step 6 of the diagnostic table, change "terminal B" to "terminal A".

DTC P1577 Steps 6 and 8 of the diagnostic table, change both questions from "the same or MORE than" to "the same or LESS than".

DTC P1652 Change the voltage specified in the Circuit Description from "12 volts" to "5 volts" and in Step 5 of the diagnostic table, change the value specified to "4.5 volts".

DTC P1654 Step 2 of the diagnostic table, exchange the Yes and No answers.
