Low Beam Operation

When the Headlamp Switch is enabled, terminal D6 of Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) connector C3 is grounded through the Headlamp Switch. In response to this input, the IPC sends a request via the Class 2 serial data line to the PZM to activate the low beam Headlamps. The PZM applies battery voltage to the coil side of Headlamp Relay "A" and the coil receives ground through the Headlamp Switch. The coil of the Headlamp Relay is then energized closing the switch contacts. Voltage is then applied through the LO/HI Beam Control Relay "C," the L HDLP LO Fuse, and R HDLP LO Fuse to the LH and RH Low Beam Headlamps.
