Fore/AFT Operation
Fore/Aft operation is similar to the Up/Down operation, except the Fore/Aft motor moves the lumbar support in or out of the seat back. When the Lumbar Switch is moved to the FORE position, battery voltage from Trunk Compartment Fuse Block BATT Fuse is applied to the fore coil in the Fore/Aft Lumbar Relay, the coil energizes and the fore contact closes. Battery voltage from LH Maxi Fuse(R) Block SEATS Circuit Breaker is then applied through relay terminal C (RED) and terminal E (DK BLU) to the Fore/Aft Lumbar Motor. Ground for the motor is obtained through WHT (CKT 210) or PNK (610), the Fore/Aft Relay, and BLK (CKT 850) to ground G302. This allows the Fore/Aft Lumbar motor to run, moving the lumbar support forward on the seat backWhen the Lumbar Switch is moved to the AFT position, the circuit operates similar to the fore mode, except that the Fore/Aft Lumbar motor's polarity is reversed, causing the motor to run in the opposite direction and moving the lumbar support rearward on the seat back.
