Deck Lid/Hatch Release

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check that the valet switch is OFF and the gear selector lever is in PARK position.
2. Check Condition of CONVENC fuse by operating LH front door lock.
3. Check Condition of RADIO/PHONE fuse by operating radio.
4. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
5. Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove good in a continuity/voltage check with system disconnected. (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
