Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check RADIO for normal operation.
2. Check Trunk Compartment Fuse Block ANTENNA Fuse for an open.
3. If Power Antenna goes up or down part way:
^ Check Power Antenna mast for bent condition or dirt. If mast is dirty and/or bent, straighten or replace mast and clean off dirt. If mast is straight and clean, replace Antenna Motor.
4. If antenna retracts as soon as ignition switch is turned "OFF" (Radio "ON," doors not open), and vehicle is equipped with Retained Accessory Power (RAP).
