CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The Body Control Module (PZM) sends a message over the Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) data line containing identification information. The PZM message includes vehicle body type identification information. If the message sent from the PZM does not match the calibration information stored in the SDM, DTC SD1055 is set. DTC WILL SET WHEN
The identification information message sent over UART from the PZM does not match the identification information stored in the SDM.
ACTION TAKEN
SDM turns "ON" the "AIR BAG" warning lamp and sets a diagnostic trouble code.
DTC WILL CLEAR WHEN
The ignition switch is turned "OFF"
After correcting the "SIR CAL PZS33" vehicle selection in the PZM "Override" mode of the On-Board Diagnostics, turn the Ignition "OFF" and then "ON" to clear DTC 55. Clear the history DTC using the TECH 1 or the On-Board Diagnostics, SDM "Clear Codes" command.
