TEST CONDITIONS:
The CVRSS control module measures the voltage of the steering sensor supply line. A value of 5 volts is expected.

FAULT CONDITIONS:
If the steering sensor supply voltage is measured to be less than 2.0 volts or greater than 8.0 volts, the code is set.

ACTION TAKEN:
Set code, turn on "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" message, and set steering wheel angle to 0 degrees.

DESCRIPTION:
The CVRSS control module monitors the supply voltage provided to the steering sensor for out-of range condition. If the supply voltage is under voltage (less than 2.0V) or over voltage (greater than 8.0V), the code is set.

NOTES ON FAULT TREE:
1. Refer to Intermittant.
2. After replacing the steering sensor, always perform the Steering Autocenter Adjustment. Refer to Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
