TEST CONDITIONS:
The CVRSS control module monitors the steering sensor data for a sensor out-of-range condition. The signal is out-of-range if it is under voltage (0.17V) or over voltage (4.83 V).

FAULT CONDITIONS:
if the signal is out-of-range for more than 10 seconds at a vehicle speed greater than 50 MPH, the code is set.

ACTION TAKEN:
Set code, turn on "SERVICE RIDE CONTROL" message, and set ~steering wheel angle to 0 degrees.

DESCRIPTION:
The CVRSS control module monitors the steering sensor data for a sensor out-of-range condition. If the signal is under voltage (0.17 V) or over voltage (4.83 V) for more than 10 seconds at a vehicle speed greater than 50 MPH, the code is set.

NOTES ON FAULT TREE:
1. Refer to Intermittant.
2. After replacing or re-aligning the steering sensor, always perform the Steering Auto Center Adjustment. Refer to Wheels, Tires and Alignment.
3. Clear codes. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
