CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
When the PZM is in the "Off," "Idle," "Ready to Arm," "Arm initiated" or "Arm Delay" state a test is run to determine whether the "Trunk Tamper Switch" is active.
DTC WILL SET WHEN
The PZM determines the Trunk Tamper Switch has been active for two seconds.
ACTION TAKEN (BY PZM)
The PZM will set DTC PZ 2719, but still allow the Universal Theft Deterrent to Arm, disregarding the input of the Trunk Tamper Switch.
DTC WILL CLEAR WHEN
The PZM does not see the "Trunk Tamper Switch" active for two consecutive monitoring cycles.
DTC CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
1. This test determines if the malfunction is a short to ground.
2. This test determines whether the malfunction is in the wiring or in the Trunk Tamper Switch.
