CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

While the Ignition switch is in "RUN" modules communicating on the Class 2 Data Bus send a "State of Health" (SOH) message every S seconds to ensure that the system is operating properly.

DTC WILL SET WHEN

The PZM does not receive a SOH message from the HVAC Programmer after three consecutive monitoring cycles.

ACTION TAKEN (BY PZM)

The PZM will send a Class 2 message to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to display the "NO Air Control Module (ACM) DATA" message.

DTC WILL CLEAR WHEN

The HVAC Programmer transmits a SOH message to the PZM.

DTC CHART TEST DESCRIPTION

1. This test ensures that the HVAC Programmer is functioning normally outside of the loss of serial communication.

Troubleshooting Hints
