PZ2056
Wiring Diagram:
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The PZM sends Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter (UART) data messages to controllers for the bus and maintains a counter which increments with each message to the module. When the module responds to the message, the counter is cleared.
DTC WILL SET WHEN
If the PZM's message counter for this device exceeds 20.
ACTION TAKEN (BY PZM)
The PZM will send a Class 2 message to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to display the Service Ride Control message.
DTC WILL CLEAR WHEN
The PZM does not detect the malfunction for one monitoring cycle.
Troubleshooting Hints
1. If DTCs PZ 2042 and PZ 2088 are also current, check for a short to ground or voltage in CKT 800.
2. Ensure that the Road Sensing Suspension System is functioning normally outside of the loss of serial communication if it is not functioning properly or you are not certain, perform the "Road Sensing Suspension (RSS) System Check," refer to SUSPENSION.
3. If the Road Sensing Suspension System is functioning properly, check for proper connection at RSS or Continuously Variable Road Sensing Suspension (CVRSS) terminals "C15" and "D16," if OK then replace the Road Sensing Suspension Module.
