CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Modules under "Controlled Power" are supplied power through the "Controlled Power Relay." The "High Power Control" output is grounded whenever the PZM is awake and for 15 minutes after the ignition switch is turned to the "LOCK" position. After the 15 minutes elapse the "Low Power Driver Output" is turned "ON". The "Low Power Driver Output" will supply up to 2 amps of current for up to 72 hours and 20 minutes. If the PZM detects that more than 2 amps are needed, it will wake-up and turn "ON" the "High Power Control" output. The "High Power Control" output test will only occur when the Ignition switch is in the "LOCK" position.
DTC WILL SET WHEN
The Ignition Switch is in the "LOCK" position and the PZM detects Battery voltage.
ACTION TAKEN (BY PZM)
The PZM will turn off the Low Power Output.
DTC WILL CLEAR WHEN
The PZM does not detect the malfunction for one monitoring cycle.
DTC CHART TEST DESCRIPTION
