CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC IP 1982 will set when Controlled Power voltage at the IPC is outside its normal range for 2 seconds. This DTC will not set while the IPC is in Service Diagnostics.

DTC CHART TEST DESCRIPTION

1. This test uses the scan tool to find out what voltage the IPC is reading.

2. This test determines whether the malfunction is in the IPC or the charging system.
