The test for DTC IP1910 is only performed when the engine is not running and Service Diagnostics is not active. This DTC indicates an open circuit in the Alternator L-Terminal feedback circuit.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC IP 1910 will set if the alternator "L" terminal is open.

DTC CHART TEST DESCRIPTION

1. This test determines if the IPC is malfunctioning.

2. This test determines whether the malfunction is in the IPC or the wiring.
