Engine Oil Cooler Line Replacement

OIL COOLER LINES

The engine oil cooler lines are sealed at the radiator and oil filter adapter with 0-ring seals. LEAKING FITTINGS CANNOT BE CORRECTED BY APPLYING MORE TORQUE THAN SPECIFIED. Excessive torque may damage mating parts. Lines that have fitting leaks should be inspected for damaged 0-ring seals and foreign material in the 0-ring seat. Be sure the tubing upset witness mark is concentric with the hole or adapter should be replaced. Damaged or compressed 0-rings should be replaced. Tighten cooler line nuts to 18 Nm (12 lbs. ft.).
