CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

A Lateral Acceleration Switch error occurs when the signal is short circuited to B + or ground, or the Lateral Acceleration Switch is open circuited or disconnected.

TEST CONDITION(S)

The control module will monitor the Lateral Acceleration Switch signal for invalid voltage levels.

FAILURE CONDITION(S)

If voltage is too high or low, set code.

ACTION TAKEN

Record Lateral Acceleration Switch error. Turn 'ON' 'SERVICE RIDE CONTROL' message. Disable Lateral Acceleration Switch input until valid voltage level is detected.
